Opening Thursday, October 3, 2019 8:00 p.m.
Exhibition from October 3 to 30
Ignacio Van Aerssen started embroidering in Munich, Germany, around 1980. At that moment he was a real painter and good student. But, the embroideries had always caught his attention since Queen Matilda.
Later he had a grant to develop sculpture with Miguel Berrocal. And there all started. He abandoned embroidery and painting, dedicating entirely to sculpture.
Well, at the moment, after almost 30 years established in Mexico City, he started embroidering again.
Today Ignacio exhibits in Madrid, after many years abroad, and with great enthusiasm, reaffirming himself in this tender support.
