HOMAGE TO THE PAINTER EDUARDO ARROYO

Exhibition from December 13 to January 6

Fourth edition of our traditional collective appointment in which this year we pay homage to the recently deceased painter Eduardo Arroyo, promoter of this cultural association and participant in previous editions of “Sobras de arte”.

The starting point of this exhibition are the proofs and errors that arise during the edition of an artistic work, the participants intervene the chosen macules creating original works.

The reference for “Sobras de arte 2018” is the work done by Eduardo Arroyo for the exhibition Arte Aplicado, in which he used one of his favorite icons, flies, to silkscreen a wallpaper design.

The proposal for this year is to work on the macules that were generated in the stamping of that work and that done for the exhibition of the Maeght Foundation in Saint Paul de Vence in 2017.

Proponemos a los artistas invitados la intervención de las máculas generadas para construir un trabajo colectivo de improvisación plástica a través de la mirada de cada uno de los participantes.

Both new and prestigious artists participate and all works are sold at the same price.

Among the participants in this fourth edition are:

Alberto Corazón, Almudena Armenta, Ana Juan, Antonio Santos, Berta López, Carlos Vidal, Carmelo Rubio, Carmen Martín Baroja, Elena Jiménez, Elisa Arroyo, Emilio Urberuaga, Enrique Flores, Fernando Bellver, García Revuelta, Imanol Bértolo, Isabel de la O, Javier Vázquez, José Manuel Nuevo, Luis Cabrera, Masaur, Mar Solís, Marcelo Burgos, María Ángeles Atauri, Marta Botas, Matz Mainka, Mo Gutiérrez Serna, Montse Lago, Pep Carrió, Pilar Merino, Raquel Hernández Izquierdo, Raúl, Sara Fratini, Saskia Moro, Teresa Fuster, Verónica Domingo, Yoshihiro Nakashima.
